Although Griffin says he is fully rehabilitated and "ready to go whenever that may be", he does not expect life in the NBA to return to normal soon. "I think the next season we play in will definitely be very different," he said. "As I understand it, I think if there is a vaccine things will get a bit more normal. But I'm also in the camp of people who would say, you know, I would prefer to have fans. And of course you will don't do that. So, I think the season will be very interesting. It will be very different, but hopefully, you know, things are a bit more normal sooner rather than later. "
Until then, there is a podcast to look forward to.
"I look forward to people hearing it," said Griffin. "My only hope is that it will help someone somewhere along the way."
