The film is a satirical comedy, a mockumentary of sorts following a distraught, overprotective Greek mother as she searches for her missing civil servant son. It’s a deftly-handled and utterly charming story. It debuted at Thessaloniki, and has shown at a number of other festivals including Trieste and Sofia, picking up several prizes along the way. It’s been a runaway hit in Greece and Cyprus, so we’re delighted to be bringing it to the UK. We’ve already had a small-scale theatrical release, but the film will be available digitally on the 10th June.
