Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was seen running on PC, Xbox One and PS4 at the game's full reveal event in Santa Monica, in an orchestrated move to remove any negativity aimed at the game's multi-platform development from the off.
"There are no 'ports'" said Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia. "The game is made on multiple platforms, it's the beginning of a new generation and we're showing it to you on all these platforms, to dispel some of the misconceptions about development."
Whilst the PC version was shown off with full 4K support, it's unclear if PS4 and Xbox One will offer 1080p.  As for Xbox 360, PS3 and even Wii U, Lamia said Treyarch is only working on the current-gen versions.
"We're working on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. That's it," he confirmed.
