Black on Black

These pictures were taken Sunday on the 11.11 when we found out that in Maastricht is the beginning of some sort of Carnival, where people come from all over the Netherlands to celebrate the opening of the Carnival season which actually happens between 17-21 February. It was so crowded and so many people dressed in all sorts of costumes like Little Red Riding Hood and Princesses but also clowns and all types of animals. 

 We kinda found some streets that we haven't wandered before so we just enjoyed the day, snapped some pictures and then when to drink a cappuccino and eat a piece of apple pie near the river. I went for an all black, head to toe look, and under that coat I have a 20's black silk dress with a drop waist line which I rarely actually wear so I decided to give it a try.

 Needless to say that I am more than fond of Black as a color and more than 50% of my closet is all black pieces. Well maybe I was also dressed up at the Carnival, as Morticia Adams. Are you as fond of black as I am?
