Birtsmorton Court Wedding Photographer

By Seangannon

I am often privileged to know about surprises before a wedding day but I have never known about the groom spending a year restoring a car to be delivered on the morning of the wedding! Rachel had no idea that Martin had organised the restoration of a 1959 Mini. It was delivered to her at 9 in the morning and stayed a center piece for the whole day. Martin has a garage full of Hillman Imps so he Mini will fit in well (somewhere!). With the church on the grounds, Rachel didn’t have far to walk to the ceremony. The vicar was very personable and even had the page boy hand out Jelly Babies during the service to stop the kids getting bored!

During reception drinks, everyone got to enjoy the gardens at Birtsmorton before going to the wedding breakfast. The center piece in the dining room was the amazing Choccywoccydoodah cake which made it all the way from Brighton in one piece. After speeches, there was an amazing sunset and Martin and Rachel very kindly went through the fields to get some dramatic images as the sun sank behind the hills.

Here is just a small selection of images from their day. Feel free to comment or share.
