Leigh interviewed Charlie Parker when he was working at WOV in New York City in 1954. Bird talks about new young jazz musicians he had met in California including Chet Baker and Frank Morgan. He also mentions some of the classical music by Bela Bartok and Igor Stravinsky which he liked.
