Redmi has crossed the milestone of selling 420 million units of its famous Note series worldwide. They are going to unveil the next generation Redmi Note 14 lineup this month.

Redmi has announced two recent significant milestones for the brand through their social media handles in China. The company made a post to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Redmi Note series with global cumulative sales of 420 million or 420 million units. Also, Redmi has also announced that it will launch its brand new Redmi Note 14 series at Amazon.

Redmi Note series has sold 420 million units

The Redmi Note series has achieved an impressive milestone by selling 42 crore units worldwide in its ten year history. As part of the celebration, Redmi has revealed that the new Note 14 series will be launched in September itself. Let us inform you that the Redmi Note 13 series was unveiled in September last year.

The upcoming Note series is expected to include three models – Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. The Pro models will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimension 7350 processors respectively.

According to recent reports, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series will feature a 1.5K curved display, indicating that this is going to be Redmi's first curved screen model. The new models will maintain consistency with the design seen on the predecessor Redmi Note 13 Pro+ handset. The leaked renders indicate that the Pro series will offer a large centrally placed triple camera setup with the Xiaomi logo and an overall aesthetic design, following the path of high-end devices. The Redmi Note 14 Pro models are expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera.

Some Redmi officials have also shared some information about the new Redmi Note 14 series. The new Redmi Note devices continue to offer impressive durability and battery life, with an IP68 rating ensuring strong waterproof capabilities, noted Wang Teng Thomas, Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Redmi General Manager of Xiaomi China. Redmi Deputy General Manager, Zhang Yifan further added that the new devices will offer a balanced user experience, comfortable feel and satisfactory battery performance. There is no specific information available about the global launch of the Redmi Note 14 series. It is likely to make its debut in the global market in the first quarter of next year.
