The charts above reflect the results of a new CBS News / YouGov Poll -- done between December 4th and 8th of 508 voters likely to participate in the California Democratic primary, and has a 5.2 point margin of error.
The polls show that Joe Biden has a very large lead in Texas -- about 20 points over Bernie Sanders and 22 points over Elizabeth Warren. Pete Buttigieg trails Biden by 26 points.
California is much closer, and could be won by any of three candidates -- since all three are within the poll's margin of error. Biden has 21%, Sanders has 20%, and Warren has 17%. Buttigieg trails far behind with 9%.
But the race is very fluid in both states. About 43% of Texas voters and 41% of California voters say they might change their minds before the primary happens on March 3rd.
