These charts are from the new NBC News poll -- done between March 18th and 22nd of a nationwide sample of 1,000 adults, with a 3.1 point margin of error.
According to the poll, President Biden's job approval has dropped to about 40% (with 55% disapproval). Pundits are saying this means Democrats will lose badly in the 2022 election. But the poll doesn't show that.
The chart below shows that Democrats are only 2 points behind -- that's still within the poll's margin of error, which means the 2022 election could go either way.
