It follows her trying to make the story bigger to improve the awareness of the horrors being committed. However, Bansi Sahu (Srivastav) turns the story against her to shut her up.

To get close to the story, Vaishali goes undercover in one of the homes. Here, she witnesses first-hand the horrific conditions the women are put through. However, she puts her own life in danger to find justice for the women.

Verdict on Bhakshak

Bhakshak is a crime thriller following a reporter who looks to expose a corrupt abusive group of men. They have been forcing women into horrific conditions and she challenges the system to do something about it. However, the leaders won’t go down without a fight.

This is a tense thriller that shows how corruption can take over a city. It shows how difficult it is for a reporter to find a story and how much is risked. There are difficult sequences to watch, as some of the actions are horrific to watch. However, it is more about showing the truth and making people aware of the troubling actions happening. It does end up feeling like a movie that focusing more on telling the bigger story, rather than keeping the tension right up.
