Story: Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F starts when Axel’s (Murphy) daughter Jane (Paige) takes a case. It has made her a target for a criminal gang who send her a message. Billy (Reinhold) calls Axel to help them with the investigation taking him back to Beverly Hills. However, when Axel arrives in the city, Billy never arrives.
Axel gets his usual welcome and gets arrested and dealt with by Detective Bobby Abbott (Gordon-Levitt). He must rebuild his relationship with Jane to help crack the case. However, he doesn’t have many friends left in the city that trusts.
Verdict on Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is an action-comedy movie following the latest adventure of Axel Foley. It has been years since he went to Beverly Hills and now his daughter is in danger. He returns to help her and rebuild their relationship while trying to crack the case she has been working on.
This movie is the latest reboot franchise bringing back a favorite character. Axel Foley has more problems to deal with other than crime, he needs to rebuild his relationship with his daughter. It brings back Eddie Murphy’s comedic charm and nonsense cop. While the story keeps things simple and makes it clear who the villain is, it focuses more on proving it.
The return of the popular supporting cast brings nice moments. We also get new cast members in Taylour Paige and Joseph Gordon-Levitt who make for great additions we get return.
