The ingredients you will need are as follows: 1 package German Chocolate cake mix, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 2c. of hot fudge topping, 1 container of frozen whipped topping, which needs to be thawed before use, and 4 chocolate covered English toffee bars.
Step 1: Bake the German Chocolate Cake following the directions on the box.
Step 2: Pull the finished cake from the oven and allow it to cool to the point where it is warm, but not hot.
Step 3: Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke several holes into the warm cake. Once holes are all into place, pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over entire cake.
Step 4: Allow the cake to completely cool. Then, pour the hot fudge topping over the top of the cake. While this is setting, crush the 4 chocolate covered English toffee bars.
Step 5: Finally, spread on the thawed whipped topping over the top of the cake, and sprinkle with the chocolate covered English toffee. Enjoy!

Its roots can be traced back to 1852 when American Samuel German developed a type of dark baking chocolate for the American Baker’s Chocolate Company. The brand name of the product, Baker’s German’s Sweet Chocolate, was named in honor of him.
