Better off Without a Nation

It is a sinking feeling. As if suddenly all the hope is forcibly snatched from me. That glimmering ray of light which was there has been extinguished. Yes I'm talking about the esteemed supreme court judgment. I don't know why but I always had a faith in judiciary, I knew it was not sanctified but some how I chose to believe that there was some thing called equality. Probably every human being needs to believe in something, so I had chosen this. But here it goes, I fall into an abyss.
How does one come to terms with it? So are you a homosexual? Why should it matter to you. You may ask. All I want to say is it should matter, it should matter to us all, each and every one of us call yourself, homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, transgender, asexual or any other term. It should matter to us all for one simple reason of being human. It matters to me because I don't want others to tell me who to have sex with or who not to have sex with.
Right to Equality:  It means the state cannot discriminate on the basis of caste, creed, color, sex, gender, religion or place of birth. Pause for a moment and see, somehow we seem to discriminate on all of these and now also based on how one lives his life.
Right to freedom: Freedom of speech and expression, freedom to assemble peacefully, freedom to form associations,  freedom to move freely through the territory, freedom to reside in any part of the country, freedom to practice any profession. Now why doesn't this freedom include a freedom to chose the partner one wants. Why should the state dictate who I should sleep with?
Right to freedom of religion: All the religions are equal before the law. Now when we are a secular country and all the religions are equal and we are free to participate in any religion, what do you call culture? Does culture essentially mean a religion even if it means, if I'm free to participate in any religion, by what rules does homosexuality become against culture?
Right to life: Person's life and liberty can only be disputed if that person has committed a crime. Crime is defined as an act committed or omitted in violation of public law forbidding or commanding it. Now you make me a criminal by declaring homosexuality as illegal. If homosexuality is illegal then I sincerely request let us make all sex illegal otherwise you are stamping on the equality.
Right to constitutional remedies: It empowers the citizens to move to a court of law in case of any denial of fundamental rights. Well where do I go if the highest court of the land denies all the fundamental rights?
I'm better off without a nation. Strip me off the nationality and throw me in a no-man's land far away from culture and civilization
