More and more people are using a virtual private network (VPN) to improve their browsing experience. There are so many providers to choose from that you may not know where to start. To help you, we've rounded up the best VPN deals from many top providers.
If you're wondering, a VPN encrypts your internet connection and allows you to route it through servers in different countries. It may sound suspicious, but it is completely legal and means no one can access your data. Hackers cannot intercept your banking information, your ISP cannot monitor your activities, and so on. The new IP address you get in a different location means your connection cannot be traced back to you either, so you are both anonymous and secure.

These functions also offer more options. For example, if you have an IP address in a different country, you can access geo-restricted content, such as: B. UK Netflix from Spain or US Hulu from Japan. Personally, my VPN is never turned off.
The quality of VPN providers varies a lot, so it's important to find the right one. You want to look for high speeds, lots of servers around the world, and other premium features. There are plenty of free VPNs out there, but most of them perform below average or offer very limited amounts of data per month.
Our round-up of the best VPN deals can be found below. While we focus on savings, we only offer reputable services so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and budget.
Best VPN deals
All of the offers listed below were live at the time of writing. VPN providers regularly offer promotions. Therefore, we'll do our best to update the post regularly with the latest offers.

1. ExpressVPN
ExpressVPN is a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. These include superfast speeds, a huge network of over 3,000 global VPN servers, a no-logging policy, and much more. It's our all-time favorite VPN service and my preferred provider too. I use it all day, every day, and it never lets me down.
ExpressVPN is $ 12.95 per month when you pay monthly. However, if you sign up for a 12 month contract, you can see huge savings immediately. Not only do you get it for the equivalent of USD 6.67 per month, but also three months for free. There is a 30-day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the service.

2. NordVPN
NordVPN claims to be the leading VPN in the world and it sure has impressive credentials. It has a huge network of over 5,500 NordVPN servers in 59 countries, and you can even route two servers for the so-called "Double VPN". To be honest, this is probably a bit of an exaggeration - your data is incredibly secure when encrypted - but if security is your top priority, this is good security.
North costs $ 11.95 per month. The longer you commit, the more money you can save. There are offers for six-month and two-year plans. If you sign up for two years, you'll pay the equivalent of just $ 3.71 per month for one of the best VPNs in the world. You also get three additional months for free.

3. TunnelBear
TunnelBear isn't quite on the elite heights of ExpressVPN or NordVPN. The focus (apart from cute bears) is on simplicity and usability. This is undoubtedly true, but it carries over to the functions with servers in only 23 countries. You also don't get a no-logging guarantee as the provider is based in Canada. The basics are well done though, with good speeds and apps for multiple platforms.
TunnelBear is cheaper than the previous two options at $ 9.99 per month. However, if you sign up for two years, you are effectively saving 58% by paying the equivalent of just $ 4.17 per month.

4. Surfshark
Some members of the Android Authority team have Surfshark as the go-to place for VPN and cite the combination of performance and affordability. In fact, you are getting a lot of bang for your buck, and unlike most providers, Surfshark lets you use an unlimited number of devices on your subscription. Its many features include 15 Netflix libraries, a no-logging policy, and a kill switch. Over 63 countries host more than 1,700 servers.
At $ 12.95 per month, Surfshark doesn't sound like an affordable option, but most people benefit from longer subscriptions. Currently, the 24-month period is available for a one-time fee of $ 59.76, which comes in at just $ 2.49 per month. Another three months are free. It is great value for money and will be refunded within the first 30 days if you are not satisfied.
5. IPVanish
IPVanish doesn't stand out among the VPN deals, but it is a great choice. Good speeds, over 1,400 servers in more than 75 locations and unlimited bandwidth contribute to the package.
It's US based, which might appeal to the patriot in you when compared to other VPNs in Panama and the British Virgin Islands. However, there is a reason these providers choose these countries. The US is a Five Eyes jurisdiction, which means authorities can theoretically request your personal information and share it with the UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Nevertheless, the offers are worth a look. They also all include 250 GB of SugarSync cloud storage.

6. CyberGhost
CyberGhost offers a solid all-round package that explains the customer base of over 10 million users. The Romania-based provider offers a no-logging policy, dedicated servers for streaming services like Netflix, and over 6,300 VPN servers in 90 countries.
CyberGhost is confident that you will be satisfied. The 45-day money-back guarantee is more generous than most providers. Check the fine print though. Some of these guarantees are void if you exceed a data limit. CyberGhost even offers you 24 hours for free.
$ 12.99 is the monthly price, but the three-year subscription is a bargain at $ 2.25 per month. You also get three months free of charge. If you don't want to commit that far in advance, the annual plan is $ 3.99 per month.

7. Private Internet Access
Private Internet Access is another US-based provider, but it's a popular choice with some great features. It is also regularly praised for its fast speeds, and for good reason. A nice gimmick is that PIA allows you to downgrade the security encryption from AES-256 to AES-128 to speed up the connection. It's still very strong encryption. So if you know you are on a secure network, this should be more than enough.
PIA is an inexpensive option. It's $ 9.95 per month, with the option to pay the equivalent of $ 2.19 per month if you sign up for three years. The latter option includes a Boxcryptor cloud security license.

8. Other top VPN deals
There are other great deals out there for other VPN providers, and it all depends on your budget. Some VPNs have mixed ratings, but that's in the context of an industry with a very high quality limit. Often times, these options are perfectly serviceable and can be much less expensive than the deals described above.
Ivacy VPNIvacy VPN is a good example. It's not perfect, but it's a reliable option with a 4.7-star Trustpilot score. It has many of the features you would be looking for and was recognized for its high speeds last year.
Of the various offers, you can only pay $ 69.99 for a five year plan on the site. That's only $ 1.16 a month. For a limited time, you can even get a lifetime subscription to Tech Deals for a one-time fee of just $ 39.99. It's worth noting that the big Tech Deals deals on VPNs are non-refundable. This is the tradeoff you make for the huge savings.
VPN unlimitedWhile the jurisdiction (US) isn't the best for the logging policy, VPN Unlimited has over 400 servers in 80+ locations and a great Trustpilot score. It's perfectly fine for the VPN basics that the majority of people want in a VPN.
On the website, VPN Unlimited is $ 9.99 per month, but a lifetime subscription is $ 199.99. Right now, tech deals can do even better than a five-device lifetime subscription, which is available for just $ 39.99.
