Best of Eye Prefer Paris: Montparnasse Reflection Photos

By Eyepreferparis88 @eyepreferparis

I am taking a blogging break this week to enjoy Paris in the summer. I am running some of my popular past blogs, The Best of Eye Prefer Paris. Enjoy and next week I will have exciting and new stories to tell.

The Saturday afternoon after I met my friends for coffee and found those fabulous doors, I was still itching to take some photos. It was one of those picture perfect, late summer weather days with Technicolor blue skies, billowing clouds, and comfortable temps in the low 70s with a breeze. I spontaneously hopped on a Velib bicycle and drove down the deserted Boulevard Raspail, one of my favorite architectural boulevards in Paris.
I stopped for a moment near rue Cherche Midi as I remembered I had shot some cool photos last year of reflections of the Haussmannian buildings off a modern building with mirrored panels.
A few moments later I came upon a series of large paned windows above the legendary La Coupole restaurant, which also had brilliant and reflections of Haussmannian buildings with some of them twisted like they were looking in a funhouse mirror.
I also included a few shots of the Le Select sign.
Would love your feedback on these, so please tell me what you think.

I am pleased as punch to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Tours, which are 3-hour walking tours I will personally be leading. The Eye Prefer Paris Tour includes many of the places I have written about such as small museums & galleries, restaurants, cafes & food markets, secret addresses, fashion & home boutiques, parks, and much more.

Tours cost 210 euros for up to 3 people, and 70 euros for each additional person. I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.
