Best Dressed - The Emmy Awards | Devon

I love awards show, I enjoy the red carpet so much and just glancing at all the beautiful dresses being worn and the dresses in The Primetime Emmy Awards were absolutely stunning. Surprisingly I actually loved a lot of coloured dresses this year, the pale coloured pastels were my favorite and just simply gorgeous.
Kerry Washington, who was actually named by People's Magazine as the 'Best Dressed Woman in the World' and you can definietely see that she is living up to her title with this magnificent dress by Marchesa. Kerry Washington looks aboslutely gorgeous in this dress and it just complements her so well. She just looks so incredible, my God just look at how perfect she looks. That is just pure beauty. The actress Zooey Deschanel looked glamourous in this ice blue gown by Mendel creation showing off a slender leg with this thigh high slit in the dress, the attention to detail with this piece definitely does not go unnoticed; especially with the cut out in the front panel of the dress, as well as the ruffle/draping. The color is actually adorable such a beautiful blue. I may add as well that her hair looked gorgeous and so sophisticated.Emily Deschanel, Zooey's older sister also shined at this years Primetime Emmy Awards, in this ravishing icy blue/silver one shoulder custom gown by Houghton, it's such a flattering dress and Emily looked absolutely stunning in the color and shape - which really showed off her hourglass figure - everything in this outfit is just so classy and matches beautifully.
They were my top three favourites of the night, however, I did really love some other outfits, just not as much as those.
January Jones stood out in this original Givenchydusty pink lace dress, which draped from her waist effortlessly. Taylor Schilling wore a exquisite white gown with a thigh high slit and gold accessories, my favorite of all the white coloured dresses. And Rose Byrne looked gorgeous in this pale pink elegant two piece - showing off her petite figure, decorated with silver accessories.
Padma Lakshmi also looked beautiful in a pale blue two piece dress, featured with bold gold statement jewelry. Kaley Cuoco looked striking in this deep red/maroon coloured dress, I actually really love this dress, the draping is so pretty, it's just such a fairytale dress. Now, finally, Julianne Hough's dress, as much as I like this I think of course it would look a lot better without her rear end being on show, I know some like that kinda thing, but I think it would look a lot more pretty and glamourous if it wasn't as see through or had more layers, even though this mint dream color is just to die for!So those were my favorite dresses of The Primetime Emmy Awards, you can find all images from this post on the Daily Mail website, here.
Do you have a favorite dress of the awards, if so whose?
