Sotavento
Sotavento beach is located in the southest side of the island, in the Jandia coast. It's a little bit more than one kilometer long, but takes part of an area of ??20 kilometers of non-stop beaches with excelent quality. This beach varies much with the tides, and with high tide it gets much narrower and a tongue of sand grows; on the other hand, With low tide the beach is huge and windy. This beach is somehow part of the Sotavento Beach. It's a long and wide beach, and it's separated from the built up area by a fringe of bushes.
Barlovento
Located in the municipality of Pájara, south of the island. This beach is practically deserted, almost 6 km long and 60 meters wide of beautiful golden sand, ideal if what we like is to relax and enjoy the sun safely without anyone bothering us.
Cofete
Corralejo Theses beaches are part of the Dunes of Corralejo Natural Park, in the municipality of La Oliva, north of the island. Sports fans can play surf, windsurf and kiteboard. The beach has the Blue Flag, about 500 meters long and about 45 wide white sand.
