Another rare find exhibited in Prague’s National Technical Museum. The first aircraft design to emerge from Czechoslovakia after WWII was the Sokol M-1 sport and touring plane. Long distance flights helped to promote the M-1 export market and this particular example flew from Prague to Cape Town in 1947. Production began in 1946 with 287 aircraft built but the deterioration of the urea-based glue used caused many examples to be condemned in the early 1960s. Fuji X-E2s w/18-135mm
