It is difficult to say when the art of massage first started. There is evidence to suggest massage therapy was present in India between 1500 and 500 BCE. However, it’s believed that it actually originated in 3000 BCE, or perhaps even earlier than that!
What is certainly true is that massage has been seen as a beneficial treatment for many years.
