Architecture can be hard to capture properly, especially if you’re close up and don’t have a wide-angle lens. You often have resort to looking for interesting compositions.
This is a photo of part of the ruins at the Abbey of Orval in southern Belgium. I liked the movement of the various arches in and out of frame. The smooth and evenly placed stones make for a nice textural contrast with the decoration.
