Last month, we decided to start a new trend with our Beekeeping mixtape column. While we love putting together playlists, there’s nothing like hearing what bands our favorite bands love so we’ve started to ask our friends to curate Beekeeping. This month, Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore of the band Tennis put together a list of the tracks they’re listening to at the moment:
Let’s call this edition of Beekeeping the “homesick playlist.” At the beginning of the year, we moved to Nashville to write an album. Change and newness are the best catalyst for creativity. We’ve always had a love affair with the south, and wanted a bit of culture shock. To say the least, we missed Denver more than we could have imagined. These are the songs we’ve listened to throughout these long months to remind us of home, or at least what home feels like.
