I'd looked forward to this Blickling Hall Wedding for some time. It's an amazing venue and if you're familiar with it then you'll know what I mean. If you aren't, then you really should go and visit! The house is simply breathtaking and is situated in the most beautiful landscaped gardens.
Becky and James got ready at the Buck Arms, on the Blickling Estate, giving me the time to capture moments of them both as they prepared for their big day! My absolute favourite moment being when Becky's dad saw her for the first time in her wedding dress!
Becky was a little nervous about the weather, it was a very rainy start to the day but I'd promised sunshine and smiles (non-contractual) and considering this was late September, we had the most perfect weather you could have hoped for!
The couple were married in the Orangery, an absolute dream to photograph in, with it's white washed walls and glass facade! Afterward, they made their way through the splendid grounds of the estate for some portraits and then onto party with their friends and family!
The whole day was, without a doubt, one of the most relaxed I've had the pleasure of photographing. Becky and James were lovely, they are a really down to Earth couple and made me feel so welcome. They were totally up for making the most of the spectacular grounds and later on, leaving their desserts to enjoy the absolutely incredible evening light and make some beautiful portraits! Their friends and family were also really welcoming and great fun to be around!
An incredible day to have played a part in, thanks to Becky and James for letting me share in it and for their ever so kind words
Rob!!
I don't think words can express how beyond happy we are with our photographs! I have become emotional more than once & now we cannot stop looking at them! They are perfect, more than we could ever have dreamed of; we are so so over the moon!
Thank you so much for all your hard work on the day and since!
Eternally grateful
Becky & James
And so now, for your viewing pleasure, here's just a few images from my take on the day - enjoy!
