It is Friday the 16th of December and I thought I'd drop today because I'm going to London to get my head-on. So I'm getting some Beauty Works Hair Extensions in London
put in so I thought I'd take you with me as you can see what I have done. I haven't looked in ages though so we'll see what this comes out like. So this is my hair now. Just so you can see my natural hair what it looks like to do to minimize.So, the festival will he call this is how he had to wash my hair first of all just make sure there was no oil or any residue of products or anything on my roots to make sure the tape adheres to your hair. And then we went through he starts on the bottom and what we did is we mix the two colours in one tape if that makes sense. So with tape extensions, if you don't know basically what it is is like a weft of hair that has that some tape on the top you can see that kind of fairly not that wide they're just tight little sections but what we did is we mix the two colours in one tape.
So one tape goes on top of your hair and then another tape goes underneath. So it's like sandwiching a bit of your natural hair in between the tapes. Does that make sense? I think that made sense. So we put on the top. You can see that's the L.A. blond and then underneath the Santa Barbara. But then when we got nearer up to my hairline I think after this was the last one we swapped it over. So the darker color was on top so obviously, it blended better. Which worked well. After that, I've chosen the Beauty Works Jen Atkin Hair Extensions
So this you combining almost customizing the tapes to match my hair by mixing no two colours. You obviously if you've got hair that isn't so where he'd like mine you can just buy one color that would be much easier. But I have to be difficult and have difficult hair. You can see what's there in it you cannot see them. You can put your hat well like really easily. You can put your hair up with them. And I know that looks crazy right now. Like why that we have has blown me.
But that does not match. But once you've got the other layer on top which is a darker one. It does. So you can see here in the close up exactly what I'm talking about. So this is one tape so this is L.A. blonde and this is where we are going underneath because on top we have already put the Santa Barbara is such a sandwiching my natural hair in between. And that is the roots it wants the Santa Barb one is a stretched root shade which means that the root as you can see here is darker than the ends which are perfect for someone like me if you've got hair that is like roots blond but the stretched roots look on bray or Bally RJ and it works perfectly.
You can't also obviously cut the tapes down so I ran this headline area. We cut down the tapes into half. So there was like smaller sections which make it even easier to put your hair up and you can see how quick and easy this was to do. I was there for like this whole session of putting these into an hour. So I went in my short hair and within an hour you have this amazing hair. I cannot express enough how amazing is hair quality is so soft so natural like it is that she like my hair like it just feels and acts like my hair.
So here's a really good closeup. You can see exactly what we're doing. So tape on top first of all. So that was the dark stretched root option and then the lights the one you see my natural hair in between there. So the lighter one is just going to go underneath so the two tapes adhere together sandwiching your head in between. So so quick and easy like so quick and easy. And so we just did that. I used I think five packs each pack is 40 grams so that's 200 grams which is so much hair.
My hair is thick and especially since I cut hair it's thick and it's a bit blunter at the end. So I felt like I had to have more hair this time than I usually would buy that amount. If you've got thick hair especially if you've got thick hair and a blunt cut. But yeah. Then obviously we cut them as well so probably once you've cut them I probably had a bit fewer grams but it's better to start with more thickness because you don't the last thing you want is to out to see your hair.
So this worked powerfully for me. So we just applied this in all over so this is them in and then obviously we need to cut them because you can see the front bits are just too long. But can you see how amazing this color is like for real? Look at this color so bottom card it's such an amazing job the whole team. Electric is amazing. They always make you feel welcome. You know some salons you go to and you walk Kennedy feel intimidated. This is not one of those settlements like at all like they make you feel relaxed.
So we cut them and then he was just going to style them. In just my usual style just kind of beachy. Waves because that's I mean that's how I wear my hair like all the time. And he did apply some electric to have their products. If you didn't know. So this was a serum that he just put through the ends and he also uses other products so maybe I don't think I got it on camera but it was like this like volume mess. And it almost acted like a Fudge Sea Salt Spray it's nice.
I've got some while I was there and I've been using it. It's really good skin textures and spray but also at volume. Good job a good job.
Night. Seriously. Who says that. Who says that's the hairdresser anyway. So this is the finished look like cow bomb. How frickin properties. Oh my God. I was blown away. That's so amazing the quality the hair is so good. That's super thick. And just look so nice and I'll show you here that you can put them up in a ponytail and you copiously can't see them at all. I'm sure I'll do some had choices for you soon anyway. But you can't just put them out.
You just have to push them up because they're. The tape is so thin like they just lie flat on your head like much better than I can w because I like chunkier. These are super thin like the actual band is thin but this is the finished high. And I'm loving it. It's a week on and I'm still loving it. So.
Today is the next day I completely forgot to finish my work when I got home after my hair yesterday.
But this is what it looks like. I mean you sort of seeing in the clips I just go I would show you in the same light thing where I was when I filmed before I left. You see. So the hair is gonna see so so like unreal. So soft like it doesn't even get matted like a torch it's like really soft. And the color is beautiful and so far so good.
