Beauty | What Santa Brought This Christmas - The Beauty Bits

By Megan Lillie @meganjanelillie
This Christmas I was extremely lucky to find some fabulous beauty products under the tree. Being an avid beauty lover and obsessee, I may have gave my family and boyfriend a little nudge in the right direction but unwrapping each of these made me so excited. I hope it's not just me that thinks there is just something about fresh makeup and unopened packaging...
First up is NARS, which is a brand that I've tried few products of but am eager to experiment with more. I received the Pore Refining Pro Primer, 'And God Created the Woman' Palette and the Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret. In 2014 I discovered a strong love for lip pencils and these are supposedly a kind of 'speciality' to the brand which makes me excited to try them even more and well, we all need just one more neutral palette don't we?
On my pre-Christmas trip to York my Mam said I could choose a few MAC bits to open up on the 25th so I opted for two repurchases and two newbies. My two repurchases were my third bottle of my beloved Fix+ and my gazillionth Mineralise Skinfinish Natural, both of which have brand new and improved packing (me likey). I then added some newbie lip products into my life in the form of the famous Creme Cup lipstick and In Anticipation pro-longewear lip liner - a product I've never heard anyone speak of before.
From Chanel I received a product that I've longed for, their Soleil Tan De Chanel, and boy, I really don't wanna spoil how pretty and neat it looks. To go with my Filmstar Bronze & Glow I received the Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt Brush - I can't wait to see how much of a difference it makes, as sometimes it's all about the tool you use! After finishing three miniature versions, I was over the moon to get a full size Benefit Porefessional - a primer that actually does fill in those pores! The items that weren't makeup that I received were the amazingly packaged and beautifully smelling Marc Jacobs Lola fragrance, and the wonder that is Moroccan Oil. Two products that would work great in any woman's beauty regime.
So that's the stunning beauty bits that I got for Christmas 2014 - I'd love to know in the comments below if you've tried any of these products or if they're on your wishlist. Also let me know what your favorite beauty bit you received for Christmas was, I'm eager to know! Thanks for reading!
