I really put the foundation through the ringer as I tested it during a jam-packed day of open-air safari touring at Malibu Wine Safari during an LA heat wave followed by a bon voyage party for a friend at night. To get ready for the safari, I went with a natural makeup look layering the foundation with peachy cream blush and creating natural highlights by gently dusting my forehead and high points of my cheekbones with translucent powder. To frame the face, I went with strong brows, mascara, and red lips. Throughout the day, I kept checking my makeup, curious to see if the foundation stayed intact. It did and provided great coverage and a healthy glow while protecting my skin against the open-air sun with its SPF power. I didn’t have much time to go from day to night so I lightly dusted and contoured with a bronzer, added some smoky eyes and eyeliner, and changed up my lip color for a dose of evening glam. Even after a long day bracing the outdoor elements, my skin looked glowy as the foundation is definitely long-lasting and provided a silky veil. I only needed to use the foundation as a concealer to add a little bit more to the sides of my nose and under-eye area. In all, it took me just a few minutes to go from safari to bon voyage!
I think I may have just converted to foundation.
