Whenever I pass The Body Shop it reminds me of when I first used to shop for lotions & potions & it was where I went for very reasonably priced & gorgeously smelling body & bath products.
Now my daughter has taken a liking to it & so I get to go in & explore their products once again.
I have always loved their body moisturisers, which I still turn to when I am in need of some extra pampering....but recently I discovered some products from their skincare range which I absolutely love.
I've been using The Body Shop pomegranate firming serum & cream cleanser for over a month now & can honestly say that I've seen a difference. With the combination of sun & suncare products, my skin is always great on holiday....but I always notice that on my return home that within days, it is quite dry & I can't seem to moisturise enough.
I started using the Firming Serum (£19.00) immediately on my return from France & my skin has remained hydrated & is noticeably softer. At first I thought the serum seemed quite watery, compared to other serums that I've used in the past but actually, it soaks & blends in well & - unlike other serums I've experienced - it lasts.I wear it under make-up....although it has hydrated my skin so well that my summer base tan is only just fading & I've only just started using foundation again, much later than I normally would this time of year.
The Body Shop Pomegranate Softening Cream Cleanser (£11.00) has been completely lovely to use....refreshing, silky & very gentle, I look forward to using it each evening - I have been guilty in the past of not cleansing my face religiously every night but this is one product that I look forward to using every night.I've found that it's so soft that I don't always need to apply moisturiser after using it late at night & when I wake up the next day, my skin remains smooth & not dry at all.
The pomegranate range is an organic anti-ageing range which claims to firm & brighten, I certainly found this to be true.
