When I was asked to review the Advanced Mineral Makeup Liquid Foundation I jumped at the chance!
No really, I was quick to respond because I have never used any kind of mineral makeup but I have always heard great things about it. I have to admit, I am not adventurous with makeup, mostly because I don't know what to purchase or if it's right for my skin type. So I tend to stick to what I know.
I was send the Liquid Foundation to try and like any beauty product I like to use if for a good few weeks before I can make my assessment.
As a working mom of a toddler with another on the way and a generally very busy mamá, I am always on the run and I save my "makeup face" for days that I have work meetings or events to attend (or a last minute photo shoot with Washingtonian Magazine!)
My past experiences with foundation have always been very heavy and gooey and have left a paste like sensation on my face drying up quickly and then flaking off. So the fact that you can't feel this and that it stays fresh throughout the day was what won me over. The lightness of the product enhances the appearance of my skin.

The foundation is a bit pricey - slightly out of my budget, but if you consider how much you get out of it, the $44 you pay for it goes a long way.

My final say: Advanced Mineral Makeup does what it says on the label. Make sure you find the right tone for your skin and then look your best! I like to invest in key fashion pieces, and I am now convinced that I should be investing in key makeup products such as this one.
