UK folk trio Bear’s Den are one of our favorite new acts to emerge from across the pond. Their take on Americana is furthering the tradition of British artists borrowing from Appalachia to make truly great music. Bear’s Den creates beautiful layers of strings and vocals driven by heart-wrenching lyrics; when you listen to Bear’s Den, you can feel their pain.
When the lads came to New York, we knew we had to find a way to get them into a studio for a Buzzsession. Our friends over at Mirrortone Studios stepped up and recorded these mesmerizing renditions of “Above the Clouds of Pompeii,” as well as the world premiere of a new Bear’s Den track, “Her Tears.” Enjoy!
