Bear Down!

The Chicago Bears got more news today regarding Brian Urlacher, who left Sunday’s game with a hamstring/leg injury. The news was not good.

Brian Urlacher has suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain. This will keep Urlacher sidelined for at least three weeks. Possibly not returning in the regular season.

Urlacher had arthroscopic knee surgery is past summer and was able to return in time for the season opener against the Colts.

The Chicago Bears did not waste anytime looking for linebacker help. They signed Dom DeCicco to the active roster. Signed running back Harvey Unga to the practice squad and waived Linebacker Patrick Trahan.

This is a big loss for the Chicago Bears. They will have to rely on Lance Briggs more. Urlacher brought so much to the team both on and off the field.

The Bears will have a big test this weekend when they travel to face the Minnesota Vikings. That is just the start of many games they will have to play without him. The Bears also have the Packers and Lions to play before the season is over.

DA BEARS!!!
