I am so very excited to be going to BEA (Book Expo America) this year! I had to skip last year’s event due to school (and money), but this May/June I will be in NYC surrounded by books and the people who make the books happen. The first (and only year) that I’ve been, I had the good fortune to room with Michelle from red headed book child. This year, plans are in the works to room with a couple of bloggers that I’ve forever followed and admired – more to come on that soon!
In the meantime, I’m hoping to glean some tips from veteran bloggers who have been to the week-long celebration of everything books and to gain some ideas of where to go, who to see, and what to do while in NYC. I believe we will be staying in Times Square so hopefully not too far from anything. I am especially thrilled to be able to meet a lot of the bloggers I already follow while finding new ones to befriend and learn from!
So, if you have any tips, tricks or recommendations for getting around BEA and not being quite so overwhelmed and/or NYC, I’d love to hear from you! And if you’re going to be there let me know so I can be on the lookout for you! I’d love to meet you in person and say hello!
