First of all apologies for my somewhat prolonged absence but last night I was head chef and head barman as we entertained friends for supper and a needle game of canasta - and, yes, you're right, the men lost! Anyway, today I have been, shall we say, lethargic, I don't think it is necessary to go any further, suffice to say that even now the tapping of these keys is killing me.
Even so, clicking onto Drudge provided me with some sardonic humor. He highlights a story in the Washington Times reporting on the meeting between President Obama and the Pope. Reading the bebriefing reports issued afterwards you would be forgiven for thinking that the 'meeting' was held at opposite ends of the Vatican! According to His Holiness - no, no, not him, I mean the real one! - the opportunity was taken to emphasize in the strongest terms how important the Vatican took the issues of birth control mandated under 'Obamacare', or 'Obamababykill' as it is generally known - well, it is in this house! Back came the riposte from the Obama 'Truth Factory', aka, the White House press office, that the subject barely arose, merely mentioned in passing, nothing to see, move along . . . !
So who do you believe? Yeeeeeeeees, quite!
