Batman v Superman Will Be Awesome; but It’s Even Better If It’s for a Cause

Excited?  I am.

Comic geek or not, just about everyone knows that certainly the biggest movie event of 2016 will be Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, coming out in just a few days!  My kids grew up on the Justice League cartoon (and this big kid watched with them), and the wait to finally see the beginnings of a live-action Justice League forming on the silver screen has been almost unbearable.
No doubt about it, watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be awesome.  However, the experience will be even better if it’s for a cause.  Read on.
Higala FC, the soccer club (okay, okay, football club) that my son is very much a part of is throwing a fundraising event, THRILLS, with the goal of using its proceeds to organize a prestigious tournament later this summer.
By purchasing a ticket for THRILLS you (1) get to see the movie event of the year in probably CDO’s best movie theaters today, Limketkai Cinema; (2) you are refreshed with a free iced tea while you’re at it; and, best of all, (3) you will help young and talented boys and girls gain training and tournament exposure in the sport that they love and excel in (a handful of junior players who compete at the national level come from this club).
Here’s the latest trailer of the movie to whet your appetite (As if you needed that…but still, it’s cooool!  And, yeah, Gal Gadot.)

Ok, so now for the details:
Where: Limketkai Cinema 4
When: March 28, 2016 (Monday); 7:00pm
How much: P300 per ticket; free iced tea
As of last count, there are only 30 tickets left available.  You can contact the coordinator for this event, Love Stratton, at this email here if you want to join us in supporting these very promising young athletes.  As awesome as the movie experience will be, supporting causes like this will always make the experience better.  See you next Monday!!
