♥ Bath Time Treats ♥

By Sarahhhp @SarahhhP

Well, my New Year's blogging resolutions seem to have already gone well and truly out the window as the last time I posted was last Thursday! I've not really been on top form anyway, as I've had a horrible cold to deal with all week, made worse by the fact that my friends and I spent the weekend partaking in 25th birthday celebrations - the outcome being that for the last few days I have had very little energy to do anything other than snuggle under a blanket and drink gallons of Lemsip!
That being said, this bout of illness got me to thinking - when I'm feeling under the weather, there is nothing I enjoy more than a hot soak in a bubbly bath and a little pamper session to perk myself up a bit. So... on Friday evening I decided to treat myself with some of my favorite products - ran a bath, stuck on a face mask and lay back with a good book in order to completely unwind.
At the moment, I am really loving the 'Treacle Moon' range available from Tesco - which as you can see from the packaging is a bit of a dupe for some of the Philosophy products. The Cinnamon scented bath and shower gel really takes the biscuit as it smells absolutely incredible and creates lots and lots of bubbly goodness - perfect! If you haven't already tried the range I would definitely recommend that you do so. The next thing I'm hoping to pick up from them is their 'Ginger Morning' shower gel - it smells de-vine.
I then went a bit crazy with the old body butters/moisturisers and slathered them all over in an attempt to combat the horrible dry, dull looking skin that tends to come with a cold. Right now, I'm enjoying the Soap & Glory 'Sugar Crush' products, and so I teamed the butter with the body scrub that I had used earlier to leave my skin smelling delish! :)
All this, combined with a little mani-pedi afterwards really did have me feeling a million times better, so if anyone else out there is suffering I would seriously recommend taking an hour out of your schedule for a little 'me time' like this.
Does anyone else find that a bath, a good book and a cup of tea can help the day's problems melt away? P.S. I'd be really interested to know what other people's favorite pamper products are so I can try some  of them out for myself!
