Anyone else having a early 80′s flashback? Balmain spring/summer ’14 collection debuted in Paris a couple of days ago and its a total play on the early 80′s with touches of the early 90′s. Check out the bounty of draping, shoulder pads, over-sized houndstooth prints, this collection screams, ‘I love the 80′s.” I adore the pastel color palette, its perfect for spring. My favorite piece, the short little baby pink number below. Wowers! I would rock that in a heartbeat. My only concern would be looking like Alexis Carrington (played by Joan Collins) from the hit 80′s primetime soap opera DYNASTY. Actually that might be so bad?! Joan Collins was a real ‘Dame’ back in the day.
