Balloon and Sand Juggling Balls

This is one of the projects I’m taking to Haiti next week. All you need is a little sand, funnel, scissors and balloons to make what I think are great juggling balls.
1. I used 9" balloons and a funnel to fill them with sand. I think 12" balloons would work great too. It takes some pulling and shaking of the sand to fill the balloon to about the size of an egg. Tie a knot.
2. Cut off the neck of another balloon and stretch it over the first to layer it.
3. Repeat and rotate the holes until you like the colors look.
