Back to Prague – Part 2

Something that Lars and I love to do during our travels, is to taste the local cuisine. We have become slightly addicted to Pilsner Urquell (the best known Czech beer) and Kozel, a dark hearty beer. And then there are the numerous liquors and … absynthe!

In a local pub, I had some gnocchi with sheep cheese and bacon ( a dish I have eaten in Slovakia as well), whereas Lars went for some potato soup. The place was swarming with locals and a couple of tourists, who seemed to be very occupied with their smartphones…

On our way back to our hotel, we discovered a beautiful church, where they had just celebrated Epiphany.

Lars is a champion when it comes to hotel bargains. We really had a very good time in our four star hotel!
