Baby Shower Invitation Commission

By Threadandbutter @threadandbutter
Over the past few weeks I have been busy with some commission work. I was asked to create 13 invites for a baby shower. It seems there are limited designs available to buy in high street shops, and having them handmade adds a really special touch. It was a great project to work on as I had complete free reign in terms of design and materials. The only guidance I was given was some text that had to be included. As  you can see from the images above the invite is made from two pieces of recycled Kraft card, sewn together with a two running stitches. I love mixing paper crafts with textiles and always try to include it in my work if possible. The invites are now tied up in ribbon and adorn with glitter ready for their journey to their new owner. I've really enjoyed this project and hope to do more work like it in the future. If you need any invites/stationary/paper crafts designed then contact me on lauren@threadandbutter.co.uk
