A/W Wishlist - ZARA

By Emmielois @emmielois

Readers, I certainly do not mean to be the barer of bad news but....*speaks through clenched teeth* Summer is over.It is officially what I like to call 'back-end weather'.  But do not fear! This is the time of year when we can re-stock our wardrobes with autumn/winter attire, which of course means lots and lots of shopping, which we can't forget, is good for the soul. Today, I thought I would focus on ZARA - one of my favorite shops. They are certainly delivering this season.... just have a look for yourselves.
Coats  Checked wool coat - £89.99
*I love the slouchy cut of this coat, not to mention the totally on trend tartan.*
Jacket with high collar - £69.99*Hiker girl with a modern twist for sure. Wind breaker? Yup. Comfy and warm? You betcha*   Belted coat with hood - £109.00
*An absolute essential for those freezing cold days. A constant warm hug if you will*
Coat with fur collar - £89.99*Love the edgy biker twinge on this coat, with its off-centre zip and statement fur collar*  Dresses
Jacquard dress - £29.99*Love the black ribbing on this. Add tights with a light/small pattern to complement the jacquard*   Lingerie - style studio dress £89.99
*So versatile. Dress down during the day by adding a thin sweater (like above) underneath and chunky boots, or be chic and wear it on its own with little courts... I'd say white.*
Printed dress - £45.99
*A more grown-up attempt of the 'cameo' trend. Perfect mixture of some of my favorite autumn colours, oxblood and navy.*
Funnel collar dress - £59.99
*Very Victoria Beckham me thinks. Wear your hair up loosely to show off the funnel collar. Wear rings, not necklaces*
Trousers
(absolute fave)
Checkered trousers - £29.99*Ughh. Just so cool. They stop at an awkward part of the leg...but it's so wrong it's right.*  Wide leg herringbone trousers - £29.99*Just the epitome of stylish comfort. If you're worried about them being too long, try wearing them with chunky day heels, or rolling them up I guess! Either would still look cool. If you have been gifted with never ending pins...realise how lucky you are! (oh, and loafers are a good option.)*  Floral print trousers - £39.99*A perfect winter floral. I love the contrast between the dark navy and the powder pink flowers.*  Houndstooth trousers - £39.99*For me, the Houndstooth is THE winter pattern. Jumpers, be it cropped or oversized, are your best bet to team with these trousers. I think the patent boots (like in the picture) work very well too. Skirts Sheath skirt with zips - £39.99*Elongating stripes, what's not to like!? Plus, I'm liking the functional zip, that's also one of the main decorative features... eeeh Zara just thinks of everything.*  Checked pencil skirt - £35.99*One thing I have learnt whilst picking out my favorite pieces for this season, is that Zara is definitely having a crack at donning the tartan, and by goodness are they succeeding. For example, this skirt. I would wear with a tight long sleeved grey ribbed jumper, or a loose grey logo t-shirt.*  Printed pencil skirt - £39.99*The colours in this skirt are gorgeous. So vibrant and pretty, but with an interesting pattern that makes it just that little bit more edgy.*  Denim Skater skirt - £29.99*So cute. Perfect with thick woolly tights and some type of flat forms. Ooh! Or some little pointy shoes*  Jumpers Ribbed sweater - £25.99*Of course, this powder pink color is HIIOOGEEE this season. So This little jumper is an essential surely.*  Extra fine sweater - £45.99*Thin sweaters are the perfect extra layer, be it under a sleeveless dress, or over a tight sleeveless turtle neck. Or you could opt for a nice cami (like above) if the temperature is bearable.*  Cowl neck rib-knit sweater - £45.99* I saw Erika Bowes (from Handful of Fashion) wearing this jumper and instantly loved it. It's slightly cropped cut makes it a staple winter sweat as you could easily tuck it in to, say, a tartan skirt. Or leave it as it is and team it with some statement trousers.*  Floral Jacquard sweater - £45.99*I have a thing about gathered sleeves. I love the way they feel and the way they look. This jumper is screaming out for some big gold necklaces and some form of leather skirt/trousers. Agreed?*  Well. That was a long post. I am officially beat. But I guess that is a good thing, because it means that Zara is doing something right this autumn/winter, I didn't doubt that they wouldn't be really. So, which garment was your favourite? I want to know! Is there anything that I have missed that you feel should be added to the list?  Deffs overdosed on my fix of fashion for today! ....oh well! Till next time.   IF YOU LIKE MY BLOG AND THIS POST MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW ON...Bloglovin / Instagram / Tumblr / Twitter   p.s blog has had a mini face lift!
