Avocado Pesto Pasta Recipe

What I really love about the avocado is that it has a multitude of uses! Mix it with honey and you have a good snack and an antibacterial facial mask. Nourish your tummy and your skin in one go!

If, like me, you start craving avocados so badly, try this:

You will need: 500 grams spaghetti 2 medium, ripe avocados 40 grams basil leaves 3 cloves garlic 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice 1/4 cup olive oil 1 tbsp fish sauce (disregard if vegan) salt and ground black pepper, to taste chili flakes, optional You will also need a good food processor that can make a creamy sauce out of the ingredients. In my case I used the Ninja Blender my fiance gave me. <3 Procedure: 1. With a food processor, lightly chop garlic and basil. Add avocado, lemon juice and oil until creamy. Add more oil to get desired consistency. 2. Add fish sauce. Taste. Throw in pepper and salt as needed. Make sure sauce is not too salty. Set sauce aside. 3. Bring water to a boil, add salt and oil. Cook noodles according to package instructions. 4. Serve noodles with chili flakes!
