Aviator jackets and oversized scarves are my winter wardrobe staples.

Feeling a little bit like The Wizard of Oz here today, except instead of yellow bricks, it's yellow leaves. On our recent trip to Edinburgh I took along my latest jacket purchase, this aviator style from Topshop. I'd been lusting after one of the AllSaints ones but their price point was just a little outside what I could afford, especially with Christmas approaching.
This one from Topshop (which seems to be out of stock online, sorry!) came in at around a tenth of the price. It's obviously not real suede and has a faux fur lining rather than shearling, but it's super cosy and that's what you need in -2 degrees in the Scottish capital.
I'm sharing a full post on our visit to Edinburgh early next week, so keep an eye out for that for the full lowdown of where we stayed/ate/visited.
On another note, whilst you're here. I'm nominated in the UK Blog Awards within the Lifestyle category and I would love for you to take a moment to vote for me. If I can make it through to the next stage that would be amazing. The link's right here and it'll take you two minutes, tops. Votes need to be in by 10am Monday 19th Dec and any late votes won't be accepted. Thank you!
Have you picked up an aviator jacket this season?
