The autumn here in southern Ontario has been mild so far. The weather has been warmer than usual most of the time.
Last year, during September and October I had followed the progression of the fall through a set of three trees along with trail by Lake Ontario. Again this year during my usual walk I captured some photos to compare.
Last year, by late September the leaves were glistening in a glorious red while this year the leaves are still mostly green.
This fits with the weather forecast for the rest of this year - a warmer autumn but an early onset of harsh winter weather.
