Author Chandru Bhojwani ~ Interview

Born in Africa, Chandru was raised between Nigeria, India and the UK. A columnist for the South Asian quarterly, Beyond Sindh, Chandru's first book, The Journey of Om (fic) was published in 2010 by Cedar Books. His short stories have been published in anthologies in China, India, US and UK. Chandru currently resides in London, UK with his wife and son.
Here is an all out conversation with the author regarding his latest book, Love, That Shit!

Q. How would you define love?
Chandru:        Wow, talk about starting off with a bang! Well, I'd have to say that Love is the ultimate paradox. It can be the most beautiful emotion and the cause of the most painful sensation. Love is a test and a reward. It's as strong as it is fragile and separated from hate by a thin line. A tiny ember can flick that switch flipping the intense love to hate. It's what we yearn to experience but leaves wounds that we carry for a lifetime. It is the root of both joy and pain.
