Australian cocktail and nonfungible token (NFT) enthusiasts now have a new place to enjoy in Sydney, one that allows holders of its nonfungible tokens (NFTs) additional privileges at the bar.
The Sydney-based cocktail bar, Bar Lulu, launched on Feb. 21 local time, along with an NFT Members Club Bar named Cryptolulu. Patrons of the Sydney-based bar will be required to purchase the NFT Member Club Bar on the Ethereum network’s OpenSea NFT marketplace in order to gain certain privileges.
Three tokens are available for purchase: Jia Lulu, Joo Lulu, and Ryuu Lulu.
Each NFT represents a new membership tier that will unlock unique rewards, priorities, and benefits. Token holders will get access to exclusive private lounges, dinners, and a variety of Web3 networking events and educational sessions.
The bar noted that the launch comes after months of seeing the success of similar experiments in the international hospitality industry.
