Imagine seeing what the fashion world has to offer all in one place. That’s what MAGIC Market fashion week is all about. True Blood costumer designer extraordinaire Audrey Fisher recently spoke with the Hollywood Reporter about the Las Vegas event along with several other costume designers who design for television series. She told THR’s Ashley Lee that she’ll be looking out for clothes to dress the vampires and residents of Bon Temps. But time is tight!

“…Vampire wear and small-town Louisiana wear — I don’t have a lot of time, so I’m going to have to be ninja about it,” she said, as she’ll see longtime vendors she’s pulled from before (Copperpeace and Alchemy are a couple of favorites) and watch out for what’s new. She’s especially looking for cool, computerized cuts of leather. “There’s a major moto trend that’s coming up, so I’m hoping I can fit that into the story somehow.”

But one of a kind pieces aren’t going to work for True Blood. Although Audrey loves to work with young designers, she needs multiples of the different outfits she puts actors in due to how many things they can go through in the course of the season in one outfit:

”I have to have many multiples of each outfit, so sometimes it’s hard for me to work with younger or newer designers because they might have only made one or two pieces of a certain jacket, and I usually need four to six of the same jacket for one character. I try to find interesting young vendors and work with them.”

What do you think our favorite characters will be wearing this season?
