About 3 months ago I was contracted by the Atlanta Journal & Constitution to do a series of illustrations for the ajcjobs.com Nursing Excellence Awards. The nice folks at Cox Communications gave me some rough guidelines of the many elements of graphics and illustrations that need to be done. The first part of that was to create a nomination poster. Here is the process that the client saw. Most of the work was done in Adobe Illustrator including the fabric textures placed as photos then brought into Photoshop for adding highlights and shadows. The design team at AJC loved it! I hope to be posting more work for the Celebrate Nurses campaign in the near future.
