Katherine & Hendrik’s Athelhampton House Wedding was my first wedding of the 2015 season.
A familiar return to the stunning Dorset wedding venue on a cold crisp day.
The wedding ceremony was held at St Michael Church, Stinsford, Dorchester. A church renowned for its tie to the great novelist Thomas Hardye, who’s heart is buried here.
Still being limited on the hours of daylight it was a quick trip back to Athelhampton House for a fireside drinks reception, and a few group shots being arranged between spots of showers.
This Athelhampton House Wedding was a blend of traditional British custom and delightful Dutch elements.
Congratulations Hendrik and Katherine – wishing you all the best with married life over in Australia.
