These days everywhere you turn you hear ‘selfie this’, ‘selfie that’. Not quoted verbatim, of course. Still, it seems like the worldwide phenomenon is not abating anytime soon and it seems like Asus has every intention of making the best of the situation with its alleged upcoming smartphone called the ZenFone Selfie.
Enhanced Camera for Increased Selfie Quality
Apart from the purported handset’s main camera boasting 13 megapixels and laser auto focus, the phone is said to pack an amazing 13-megapixel front-facing camera with dual-LED flash as well. Such a high-quality camera would be a considerable upgrade from the ZenFone 2 and its standard front-facing camera’s 5 megapixels. Suffice to say, the boosted front camera would likely be more than ideal for all you selfie enthusiasts out there who are tired of having your self-portraits coming out all grainy and blurry. It’s the 21st century, for crying out loud! Yes, we hear you.
The ZenFone 2 Successor
While there isn’t much info about the rumored device, the new ZenFone should resemble its predecessor visually and feature a 5.5-inch display. Not much more in the way of design is known at this point, but as the phone is expected to make a debut during Computex 2015, which is scheduled for next week in Taiwan, it is possible more details could be following soon.
In the meantime the word is also that the Taiwanese giant is preparing a big reveal of several new ZenPad tablets operating on Android 5.0 Lollipop at the upcoming June event.
