Asus ROG 5 with Snapdragon 888 SoC Listed on TENAA

Asus ROG 5 has been spotted with Snapdragon 888 and 64-Megapixel triple rear camera setup on TENAA Certification. A couple of weeks ago, It is also surfaced on the 3C listing with a 6000mah battery. Recently, The Taiwanese tech company also shared a teaser of its next-generation Asus ROG gaming smartphone on Weibo.

Asus is all set to launch the successor of the Asus ROG 3 very soon. Recently, A well-known tipster named @_the_tech_guy shared the TENAA listing of the ASUS_I005DA that could be expected to be called ASUS ROG 5. As per the listing, the ROG 5 features a 6.78-inches AMOLED FHD+ resolution screen with a thin bezel on the top. Under the hood, It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, and paired with Adreno 660 GPU.


Asus ROG 5 is believed to be run on ROG UI on top of Android 11 out of the box. Coming to the camera, It is equipped with a 64-Megapixel Triple rear camera setup and a single front-facing camera. Lastly, the smartphone measures 172.8 x 77.25 x 10.29mm thickness.


As earlier mentioned, Asus ROG 5 is also surfaced on 3C certification a couple of weeks ago. The 3C listing revealed that it packs with a 6000mah dual-cell battery and supports 65W fast charging technology.
