Asus Chromebox 4 Powered with Intel Ice Lake Processor Launched

Asus Chromebox 4 is another mini PC from the company that comes with Intel Ice Lake Processor. In terms of design, it looks pretty similar to its predecessor Asus Chromebox 3 that was unveiled back in 2018 with Intel’s 8th generation processor. The Chromebox 4 also supports Google Play which means you can use supported android apps as well. Nowadays most of the Chrome OS devices support Android Apps natively.


Asus Chromebox 4 Specifications, Features


As per the report, Asus Chromebox 4 offers a range of processors from Intel Celeron-5205U and up to Core i7-10510U. There are 32GB/64GB eMMC storage options and also has 128GB or 256GB M.2 SATA SSD option. In terms of connectivity, the Chromebox 4 offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, a headphone jack, up to 3 x USB 3.1 Gen 2, 2x HDMI 1, 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, and 1 x LAN port. Additionally, the new chromebox also has a DC-in port for power supply and a Kensington lock to provide physical security.


The Asus Chromebox 4 has up to 3 x 4K Displays support. In terms of DImensions the new Chromebox measures 148.5×148.5x40mm similar in weight as the previous chromebox. Moreover, the Chromebox 4 has a VESA mount with a screw-in rubber barrier that lets you attach your Chromebox to a monitor to create a customized all-in-one PC-like user experience.


Asus Chromebox 4 Price and Availability


Asus Chromebox 4 is priced at $289 ( Rs. 21,400 approx ) and as mentioned earlier the chromebox 4 comes in different configurations you can easily choose your configuration from the Asus website. The new chromebox is currently limited to US markets and no information regarding the international availability of the device and it will go on sale in December in the country.
