Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment
The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission (ADRC) announced Assam direct recruitment examination commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for the selection of candidates for different categories of posts. Accordingly, the commission will select candidates for recommendation on merit, in order of higher Grade Pay, taking into consideration reservations for SC, ST, and OBC.The examinations will be conducted separately on different dates so that higher degree holders can appear for more than one examination.Bachelor’s Degree LevelThe commission will conduct separate examinations for the posts as per the following eligibility criteria.
- Bachelor Degree.
- Bachelor's Degree with Computer Skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Science.
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce.
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics.
The candidates applying for the graduate-level posts will have to appear in the written test in the first stage of the recruitment process. The written exam details are given below.

The preparation of a merit list for appointment to various categories of posts will be done through the following steps.
1. List of all the candidates will be prepared in order of merit based on marks obtained in the written examination.
2. In addition, the minimum qualifying marks of the general candidates and the marks obtained in the written examination for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories shall be determined by the Commission for shortlisting the candidates from the above list to be called for the computer test. / other tests / practical tests in the ratio as decided by the commission.
3. The Commission will determine the minimum qualifying marks for Computer Test/Other Test/Practical Test.
4. Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in Computer Test/Other Test/Practical Test will not be eligible for selection. 5. The final merit list for Class III and IV posts will be based on the aggregate marks obtained in the written test and computer test or other test or interview.
